HEALTH

May 10, 2005

We must remain healthy and listen to the rhythm of your body.
When your body says rest, you have to rest. Do not stay up too late,
but that is difficult when there are so many places to go for gimmicks.
Then by just catching up with bonding with the spouse and kids, there goes your weekends to catch up on the sleep-eye.
Health affects everything we do. Health is wealth.
A friend recently just lost consciousness while driving in the expressway, bumped another car and luckily survived by the grace of
God. He has diabetes. It is a good thing, saya his doctor he did not collapse into a coma.

Always consult a nutritionist as she can save your life.
You will know if you will live another day, you are eating the right food.
Try the green juice made up of ampalaya, apple, celery and water.
have it osterized.

Exercise at least 30 minutes a day, drink structured water (call
02-4332222, email structured_water@yahoo.com) ten times a day.
Sleep early.
However if you work in a call center consult your doctor especially women, as staying up late is really a challenge to your health.
No matter what they say stay away from caffeine laded drinks.

Go swimming or ride the bicycle regularly or walk but not under intense heat.

For the men reading this, see your doctor now. I have friends and classmates who have died already and I am not yet a grandfather.

There is a lot of junk food and processed food, and poison like cigarettes and softdrinks that we consume too much.
Stay healthy and I want to see you and hear from you again.

See chemistry professor Steve Lower's website (http://www.chem1.com/CQ/ ) for various water-related pseudoscience and quackery. See http://www.chem1.com/CQ/clusqk.html… in particular.

James Randi has dealt with a couple of these (some of which may be out and out scams). The following are some of the more recent articles on these: http://www.randi.org/jr/060305be.html#7…

Let's beware of pseudoscience.

Mr Edwardson Tan should try the structured water. I t is healthy water that doctors prescribe

[1] Mr Edwardson Tan, thank you for your comment.

We have read and visited the sites you have mentioned in your comment some time ago. Yes indeed there are some quacks out there, but there are other types of quacks. Those that cannot and will not stop QUACKING and QUACKING - We hope and pray that you are NOT one of them.

But lest we fall into the trap of thinking like automatons without really thinking for ourselves, allow me to elucidate on the matter.

You see to think that water is simply water is akin to existing in the 6th century when the then Bishop of Antioch - Constantine, created a "Christian topography" depicting the Earth as a FLAT disk. Not only was it considered scientifically wrong to think that the earth was round, it was also HERETIC to say so.

It took more than 9 centuries before brave souls in Sept 1522, proved through the first circumnavigation of the world started by Ferdinand Magellan and completed by Juan Sebastian de Elcano that the earth is indeed ROUND and NOT FLAT.

Of course, today any 5-year old child will tell you that the earth is round matter-of-factly. And we take that fact today as common knowledge. My point here, my dear friend, is that one should think with an OPEN mind for OURSELVES and not take the opinion of others for FACT.

To find out if the food that one prepared is delicious or not NECESSITATES that one taste it. How will you know if you dont taste it? Thus we invite you to try STRUCTURED WATER first before you judge it. Please visit us at 96 Xavierville Ave., Loyola Hts. QC. Please call before coming at 4332222 or text 09228921256 - Who knows you may join countless others, who have dismissed structured water before as pseudo science but today are not only drinking it but introducing it to other people as well - because of the multitude of health benefits that they have experienced from simply drinking it.

I hope and pray that you accept our invitation and start to FREE yourself, and begin to take the first steps out of ignorance, to start to progress beyond the 6th century way of thinking.

Countless minds have done so. Imagine if COPERNICUS had not gone against the long held belief since the 2nd century that the earth was the center of the universe and not published his theories that formulated that the Earth and other planets moved around the Sun, where would interplanetary navigation be today?

In fact, Galileo Galilei's advocacy & support of this heliocentric system resulted in his famous trial before the Spanish Inquisition in 1633. There Inquisition consultants pronounced the Copernican theory heretical and admonished Galileo “not to hold, teach, or defend” the Copernican theory “in any way whatever, either orally or in writing.”

Imagine if the WRIGHT brothers simply accepted the common notion that man was not meant to fly; if THOMAS EDISON simply gave up after 999 failures before he could get the electric powered light bulb to work; if ALBERT EINSTEIN simply accepted the theorems of physics then and not come out with his theory of RELATIVITY - where would mankind be now?

Men should set their MINDS FREE , it will make ALL of us better people and help make a better world.

Have you had your water tested by chemists? What do they say? Is it "structured"? Can your water be distinguished in a double-blind study from water that is not structured?

Having people taste test your water does nothing to support your claim that it's "structured water." How your water tastes is irrelevant.

Moreover, testimonials, even a million of them, are worthless. Testimonials commit the post hoc ergo propter hoc logical fallacy.

Instead of ranting exactly like a pseudoscientist, giving a long-winded irrelevant discourse on Galileo, Copernicus, et al., provide us scientific studies about your product. What does PIPAC (in Ateneo) which I believe is just a stone's throw away from your address say about your product?

Furthermore, just in case you're claiming that your product has therapeutic properties you better commission impartial laboratories to perform randomized, double-blind studies. That's how substances are tested for their efficacy.

Will your product pass scientific muster? You know what? I DOUBT it!

I agree with the doctors' prescription about water. I presume all doctors would heartily prescribe water for its life-giving benefits. And I have no doubt that I myself would be happy to have structured water (or any other kind of water) handy when I travel through a desert or after a few games of bowling.
