NO TO CHARTER CHANGE UNDER THIS GOVERNMENT

Charter Change under a Deformed  Administration Further Threatens the Democratic System

The Ang Kapatiran Party will not support the moves of this deformed administration,the so called lesser of evils, to promote charter change.
Until this administration is changed there will be no hope to have a constitution that could be freely amended and improved in order that our citizens will experience the fullness of life.

The biggest deformity of of this administration and the most serious is the political corruption as it betrays moral principles,the work for social justice and the pursuit of the common good.

If a charter change is to be pursued with the convening of so called peoples representatives,what can we expect from the majority administration allies who have several times looked the other way when Malacanang is threatened by impeachments,senate hearings,and investigations?

The administration has compromised the correct functioning of the state and has  made the people afraid of the State,instead of the other way around.The growing distrust with and the disrespect of public institutions has made citizens further disillusioned and  callous or “manhid”, with politics as well as  the laws that the State and its institutions are accountable to uphold.

Malacanang now wants to use charter change,use its power over congressmen and senators to push its survival agenda.The Ang Kapatiran Party is correct in its thrust to fight the evil ways of political patronage,personalities,and the disregard of Filipino Christian Values.This small voice will give the biggest hope.

Foreign governments who have seen the collective weakness of  ourselves the Filipinos, to stand for and fight  for our  rights,have started to  interfere for their own political agenda.Our constitution will soon become their playground in games only the Filipinos will lose.

We call on all our countrymen in each and every street and barangay,every church and parish,every office and school, to be vigilant and wake up to each and everyones role to defend our Motherland from invaders of our democracy.We call on all to look at  existing political parties and study their principles and platforms,their track record and adherence to the laws and specially the Philippine Constitution.If they are getting away with dirty politics and gimmickry,what should we do??

While we still have freedom lets all express our refusal to what is morally negative and offensive in whatever disguise it may be presented.
